Fues, vans.it. We two protestant chaplains will hold six services. I have oneat 6i30 a. m., 10:30 a. m. and 7 p. m. Yesterday we had a three hour Good Friday service. There is a large Catholic church every three or four blocks in this city and only one small Protestant church. 1 visit the pastor’s home nearly every week. They are lovely people. Their home was struck by an American bomb and severely damaged.They hare so little and are sograteful when I bring them a little sugar or candy and a bar of soap is received almost with tears. Here everything has been rationed, food, clothing and firewood. Coal cannot be had. Most homes had no heat this winter, but fortunately the weather was not too severeThings are slowly improving.
