After a gruel-ling afternoon of races, jumps, and throws. Nocona turned in a total of 553l* points to the 56 that Bowie had gathered up.Tlie entire decision depended noon the final event, the one-mile relay. Three teams were entered and Nocona needed to win at least second place in order to take the meet. Jacksboro withdrew her team without competing, thereby leaving onlv two teams to run.
