jBorger Flier Is DecoratedI Announcement that Capt, JamesW Baldwin of Borger is missing in action and also of his being awarded the air medal for meritorious service were released yesterday by the war departmentCapt. Baldwin is the son of Mrs. T. F Baldwin. Mariand Hotel.He was awarded the air medal , ‘ for having led and participated in heaw bombardment missions totaling more than 100 hours. These flights, carried out between Aug. 1, 1942 and Dec. 31. 1942, from bases , in India and the Middle East, have »iresulted in much damage to enemyinstallations.When the air medal was awardedhe was listed as a first lieutenantbut the announcement that he wasmissing listed him as a captain, He was apparently promoted to the ran* of captain after being cited for meritorious service.
