E. Anderson and Nels Nelson responded to the call in Bode. Thursday morning in company with Mayor Pederson W.E. Miller and C W. Riley they filled two autos and went to Fort Lodge to enlist.When they were getting ready to start the “Booster” band came out and rendered sevreal selections and the parochial school children accompanied by their teachers marched down to bid them good bye beneath the big Hag on Main stret.
