Md. who lost his left leg below the knee when he was hit by a German mine in 1 France, near Brest, last Aug. 28. has received his medical discharge from the Walter Heed General hos- j pital. Washington. D. C., where he had been a patient since last October. Pvt. Snyder entered the ser- 1 vice in July, 1943. He has two brothers in service also: Pfc. KirbyP. Snyder, in the Signal Corps in 1 Missouri, learning to be a cook: and Sgt. Melvin M. Snyder, somewhere in China in Hdq. S.OS t’.S F. i He has bden overseas nearly two i years.
