Former Black River lt;Man Dies in VietnamBLACK RIVER FALLS (Special) — Master Sgt. Orlan Nelson, 28, former Black River Falls resident, died Feb. 23 in Vietnam of wounds suffered in combat, it was reported here this week.Funeral services were held in Tacoma, Washington. Survivors include his widow, Sibylla, Fort Lewis, Wash.; two sons, Steven and Michael, a daughter, Patricia, all at home; four brothers, Roger, Eugene, Terry and Robert; a sister, Mrs. Dennis Meissner; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Nelson, all of Wisconsin.
