ON WEDDING DAY - Phyllis Mr. and Mrs. EIvin Gerard Stafford and Elvin Gerard.Gerards to mark golden dateFriday, April 14, is the golden wedding anniversary of Salinans Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Gerard, 829 Millwood Drive.A celebration at their home is planned for them later.The couple have two children, Karla Rosenbluth of Denver and James of Salina.There are three grandchildren.Gerard and the former Phyllis Stafford were wed April 14, 1945, in Detroit, Mich.He served in the Army Air Force during World War II, then graduated from Lawrence Tech University in Detroit in 1949.The couple moved to Salina in the early 1950s, and Gerard has farmed since that time.
