The young man’s father is chief of police at Rural Valley.George Franklin McCoy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Ray Me-; Coy, Templeton, enlisted as a Sea-. man Recruit and is also taking Recruit Training at Great Lakes,James and McCoy enlisted under the Navy “Buddie” system, and will be togehter through recruittraining.George David Denardo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Denardo, re-enlisted as a Radioman Second Class. He re-enlisted within 90 days after he was discharged and received a re-enlistment bonus of around $1,000. He went to Philadelphia for further assignment.Alan Kent McCoy re-enlisted as a Photographer Third Class. He reenlisted under a new system the Navy has in effect at the present time. He requested a photographer school at Pensacola, Florida, before he re-enlisted.
