The boys all wish that they could but be in Gettysburg such a day us this.I have seen it stated in private letters from your town, that, a report is current there that the ‘‘Tenth’' has been turned into infantry. This is not so. To my knowledge, no thought has ever been entertained of such a change by those 5u authority. The Colonel feels assured we shall be mounted and fully equipped in a short lime, and face the encmv-on the held.
