Fekety says that these boys “have an ear for the ‘ combustion engine” and ■'seem to pick up the knack of driving without too much trouble. Members also must learn gunnery /nd tactics as part of their tiaimng, the captain said Capt. Fekety was commissioned a second lieutenant on the battlefieldin March, 1943, by Lieut. Gen. Patton.
