LIONS CLUB TO CLASSIFY NAMES FOR PLACING ON A PUBLIC ROLLReaders Invited to Suggest Corrections or Omissions to Make the List Complete and Correct to DateFollowinjris the list of names of Bath men and women serving in the military and naval service (and their connected branches) of the United States as compiled by Henry O. Trowbridge, chairman of a committee of the Bath Lions club, which organization is sponsoring the erection of an honor roll in City hall square. The committee realizes that the list is not complete; that it may contain errors and that there are probably some names included of persons not residents of Bath. Mr. Trowbridge has put in a vast amount of time and effort in preparing the list as it now stands but after checking with every available source he feels there is still a great likelihood that many names of Bath residents which should be on the list have not been obtained. It is chiefly because of this that the Independent prints the list Mr. Trowbridge hopes that everyone procuring a copy of the paper will go over the list and if they notice any omissions, errors in names or names which they believe should not be on the list, such as persons whose legal residence at the time of enlistment or induction was olsew'here than the city of Bath, that they will notify him at once. This will be the final check on the list. Mr Trowbridge s address is 13 Andrews road and his telephone number is 682.The honor roll is intended to include names of all men and women, legal residents of Bath at the time of enlistment or induction. now serving or having served during this present war. w'ith the United States Army.
