Lt. Boudeman, 1936, Dies In Air CrashWord was received last week of the death of Lieut. Douglas Boudeman, Class ’36, in an airplane crash in Texas. No details were available concerning* the fatal accident.Lieut. Boudeman, formerly of Kalamazoo, Michigan, attended Western five years. He was a popular and friendly cadet, always full of life and fun. He graduated as a lieutenant, and he won letters in “B” football and basketball. He was a star miler in track. “Doug” was very active socially while at W. M. A.After leaving Western, Boudeman was in business in Kalamazoo. He later joined the armed forces and entered the U. S. Air Corps.Lieut. Boudeman is survived by his wife and one young* child.
