Elizabeth Colelazler who resides In this city called on Tho Republican on Saturday afternoon toexprees her gratitude and thankfulness for the homecoming other son, Bert Williams, who has juet returned after three years hard service in the Philippines. Mrs. Oolclazier's first husband, Jesse Williams, and her last husband George Colclazior, woro both members of the 70th Indiana, and served under General Harrison, but like their old commander, have answered their last roll call until the resurrection morn. It is of course a good source of comfort to this aged mother to have her son returned to her after three years of hard service when he was constantly exposed to the dangers of the battle and disease, to protect, maintain ahd comfort her In her old age. There is nothing 60 touching as a mother's love, or so manly as aeon's protecting and lov-in? care.
