Dittlinger, thrice wounded veteran of the fighting in France and Germany, and who is now recovering in a hospital in England, has been awarded the Bronze Star tor his j participation in the battle for Brest, his wife. Mrs. Jean Pitt-; linger learned this week. Sgt. Pitt-j linger is tin* son of Mr. and Mrs.| J. H.
