Michael Sevok had been killed in action on Iwo Jima.Also received by his family on Wednesday was the news thatCaptain Ralph L. Christy, well known Tidloute officer and former member of Company I, was killed in action in Germany on March 25.Young Sevok, serving with the U. S. Marine Corps, entered service in August, 1942, trained at New River, N. C,, and was sent overseas last fall. His brother, Lt. Andrew Sevok, Jr., was killed at Dale Mabry Field, Tallahassee, Fla., ou January 15, 1943, when he bailed out of his plane after it had become overheated and burst intoflumes, spinning into his parachute as he descended. The body was brought home for military services; was bluried In the Greek Catholiccemetery at Sheffield.Besides his parents, young Michael leaves three brothers, Peter, George and Stephen, and two sis*iters, Anna and Mary.iby the American Legion and heNews of Captain Christy’s deathwas received yesterday morning by his wife, who is the former Mary Clinger. One of three sons of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Christyserving in the armed forces, he would have been 24 years old hadhe lived until April 14.He was graduated from Tidioute High School with the class of 1940 and left here witli Company 1, 112th Infantry, in February, 1941. He was commissioned a secondlieutenant at Camp Bennlng, Ga.,in 1943, and went overseas abouta year ago.
