Quincy.— Albert Cashier, the little woman who fought through the Civil w ar disguised as a man and who kept her identity secret until last summer, was adjudged insane add will be takfj|| to an asylum. She has been unbalanced mentally for several years. She was born in Ireland in 1841 and, disguised as a hoy, came to America as a tramp. She entered the army under the command of General Grant and fought in some of the leading battles, including Vicksburg and Mobile. Her sex was discovered last summer when a surgeon was treating her.
