Daniel L. CorbettAir ForceHOMETOWNBurlingtonCapt. Corbett graduated from Williams High School in 1970 and joined the Air Force the same year. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War and was deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., to the Persian Gulf in January. He serves as Chief of Morale, Wellness and Readiness and supervises five recreational compounds. He is the husband of Sabrina Corbett and has one son, Travis, and one daughter, Ashley. He is the son of Onie Corbett Thomas of Burlington and the late Samuel Corbett. He has one daughter, Selina Corbett, living in Burlington, as well as several brothers and sisters in the Alamance-Caswell area,Patricia Miles, Louise Richards, Ruby Latta. all of Burlington, Shirley Riley of Mebane, Betty Brown, Tha Corbett, the Rev. Floyd Corbett and Bobby Corbett, all of Yancey-ville, and Isaac Corbett of Milton.
