NEW MARINES — Three district yoaths have j enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps for four years, through the recruiting station in Union-town Post Office. Left to right: Donald Lee Burd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arley Burd of Charleroi; Ronald Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Perkins of Lemont Furnace, andCharles Albert Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cole of West Leisermng. They will undergo 10 weeks of recruit training at Parris Island, S. C., and then will be sent to Camp Lcjeune, N.C., for advanced infantry tactics training for four weeks.
