A surprise party was held at the home of Mr. ‘and. Mrs Tony Javes in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Yaw by their daughter, Nellie, of Bran don, who presented them with a corsage. ‘Mr. John Wishira gave a speech for the honoured guests to which] Mr. Yaworski so fitting replied ed them with a set of silver. A purse of money was then presented to the honored guests ‘Musical entertainment for the eve ning as supplied by Mr. and Mrs Pete Wowk. A lovely lunch and re freshments was served by the hostess Mrs Javra assisted by the honored guests’ relations. In honor of the occasion Mr. and Mrs. Yaworski had present Mr. Pete Stephanysyn and Mrs. Tony Javra who stood up for them on the occasion of their marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Yaworski were married in St. Joseph's Church, Russell, in Novem ber 21st, 1994, and ‘have since resided in the ‘Silver Creek Muni cipality.
