It was a doubleelopement,Charles Frellson. son of. the agent of the Associated charities, and Miss Eva Brown hied themselves to the Michigan Gretna Green and swore to be true to each other, and aJ: the same time A. B. Knanf escorted Miss Alvina Burns to the same delectable spot aud swore to love, honor aud cherish her till death them parted. It was kept a secret for a week.The young folks returned and have been forgiven, and it looks as if they will now “live happily ever afterwards.” Young Frellson is but 19 years old and his bride a year younger, while the other couple have hardly reached the age of discretion from the view of bachelors and grouchy parents. Mr. Ivnanf is a student at the Milwaukee Medical college and together with his bride will set up housekeeping at G12 Walker street.The medical student and his bridi* were residents of Sheboygan until they visited St. Joe, bat now they will setrle down in Milwaukee. Mr. and Mrs. Frellson intended to keep their marriage a secret ontil they reached respective legal, ego. but now that it is out they may also find a home for themselves and live in it. Miss Brown, now Mrs. Frellson. was a clerk in GimWls’ and lived with her mother at Eighth and Chestnut streets. The ceremonies were performed by Rev. A. C. Roberts of St. Joseph.
