The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Richert of Jennings.An improvised altar was mantel, which ^vas centered with a long, low arrangement of yellow daisy mums, white snapdragons and baby’s breath, with white tapers in brass prismed candlesticks at each end.The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of ivory silk crepe and matching pointe de Venise tace, styled with a square yoke and high wedding ring collar.Lace ruffles edged the yoke and the short puffed sleeves. A sash at the empire .waistline tied in the back and fell in loops down the A-line skirt. She wore a shoulder length veil of illusion attached to an ivory satin bow.Her flowers were a Colonial bouquet of bride’s roses, stephanotis and baby’s breathbacked with lace and tied with*cream-colored ribbon.Mrs. Dennis A. Whittle of Ashburn, Ga. served as matron of honor for her sister and her only attendant. She was attired in a gown of apricot silk crepe accented by a round white collar edged in lace, short puffed sleeves, and long flowing skirt,A sash at waistline tied in loops in the back. She carried a nosegay of apricot and yellow pixie carnations, tied with avocado ribbons.Dr. Albert C. Richert of Sulphur, La. served as best man for his' brother.A reception followed in the home.
