Engel of Bennet l in a ceremony performed at St o’clock, Wednesday evening, September 20, in the Presbyterian Jhiirch in Williamsburg. Large3 Pink and white glad* inlus white tapers in tall white candelabras formed the setting for the single ring service which was performed by the Rev. A. H.Grossheim. ,Preceding the ceremony thecandles were lighted by Keith and0ren Peterson, twin brothers ofthe bride, and selected nuptial“.ic wa's Played by Mrs. R. H. Matheson. MiUicent Jones rendered a vocal solo, “Beloved it is Morn, and Keith Peterson sang«I Love you Truly.”Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Phyllis Ann Peterson. Lt. Carl L. Dodson served as best man., and ushers were, Robert Dane, Robert Yoder, Nolan Oaks, Oren and Keith Peterson.The brides gown of white net, was fashioned with a sweetheart neck line and short puffed sleeves. Her fingertip length veil of net was held in place with white rose buds. White roses formed the bridal bouquet. The bridesmaid wore a pale blue embroidered organdy gown and carried a bouquet of pink roses.Following the ceremony a reception for out-of-town relatives and close friends was held in the home of the bride’s parents. The serving table, presided over by Mrs. Jas. P. Gaffney and- Mrs. J. D. Lewis, was decorated with cut flowers, white tapers in crystal holders and a four tiered bridal cake. Mary Charlotte Harris, Julia Matheson, and Jacquline Engelbert assisted with the serving.Later Lieut, and Mrs. Engel left for Camp Claiborne, La., where Lt. Engel is stationed. For traveling the bride selected a black suit with black accessories and her corsage was red rosebuds. After three weeks at Camp Cai-borne.
