-This week Wallace Price, a young man from Marshall county, came to Rochester to procure a license to marry Miss Dosia Warren, of Richland township. Clerk Reed issued the necessary paper, and the happy young man hied himself to the home of the prospective bride, and from there they went to the home of the minister of the Gospel and made their errand known. Everything was in readiness, and the minister asked for the license, which was produced. The “goodly” man smiled sadly as he looked at the document, and in a gentle manner broke the news to the anxious couple that the cereuiouy would have to be deferred until the i Clerk affixed his signature. The couple took the matter in good nature, i and the bride to be was returned to her home, while the young man returned to Rochester and secured the signature of the Clerk to the license. This having been done the ceremonywas performed which made them husband and wife. A host of friends extend congratulations.
