The vocalists, Russ Sprunger and Karen Habegger, sang “Walk Hand in Hand.”gown in two lines to make an Aline look Her cathedral train was trimmed in lace. She carried a cascade bouquet of white miniature carnations, yellow sweetheart roses, fuji mums and blue carnations,Mrs. Charles Giese, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a light blue organza over taffeta gown, with long puff sleeves with dark blue empire bodice in front with matching braid trim. She wore a braid inher hair that matched her dressand carried a contemporary iMRiquet made in a basket cage of blue cornflowers, miniature carnations and purple statice. Serving as bridesmaids were Patty Myers, and Sherry Wisel, cousin of the bride. They were'Wdressed identical to the matron ofhonor Claudia Egly, niece of the groom, was flower girl.Best man was a triend of thegroom, Tony Lengerich. Serving as groomsmen were Jan Smith, brother of the groom, and Poyle Egly, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Larry Sprunger, brother of the bride, and Charles Giese, brother-in-law of the bride. The rings were carried by John Fox, the bride’sChoircousin.A reception was held after the ceremony in the church socialroom for 150 guests. The bride’s table was adorned with bluecandles on toth sides of the cakewith bridesmaid’s bouquets. Serving the guests were Gail and Dana Sprunger, Brenda Sprunger and Jan Lehman. Following the reception, a wedding dinner was held at the home of the bride’s parents for 75 guests.For their honevmoon toFlorida, the new Mrs. Smith changed to an apricot double-knit dress.The bride is a graduate of South Adams high school and Raven-scroft Beauty College. She is currently employed as a beautifian for Ann Johnston in Berne.
