Mr. and Mrs. Shanahan are estimable and highly respected young people. The bride bus resided in Goshen many years and for the past six years she has had charge of the queens ware department at the Chicago Fair. The groom is an energetic young man, being among the oldest brakemen in point of years of service with the Lake Shore railway. They received many useful presents, the present of the Chicago Fair to the bride being among the most notable.Mr. and Mrs. Shanahan left at 8 :54 o’clock over the Lake Shore for La-Porte, where they will make a short visit. They will also visit in Indianapolis and at the Pan-American exposition.A furnished home at 114 Franklin street, Elkhart, awaits their return. The happy young couple are recipients of congratulations ami well wishes from many friends.
