Miss Mary Frances Rigney, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rigney of this city, and Mr. George F. Shanahan of Elkhart were united in marriage this morning at six o’clock at St. John’s Catbolic church, Rev. father Guendling officiating. The pretty and unostentatious ceremony was witnessed by a large assemblage of relatives and friends.It was one of the most impressive weddings that has occurred at St. John’s church for some time. At the appointed hour the bride,accompanied by her cousiD, Miss Anna Trainor, who acted as bridesmaid, appeared in the vestibule of the church and came down the main aisle to the sanctuary. They were followed by the groom, who was w ith John E. Rigney, brother of the bride and best man. The Catholic full ring service was then pronounced by Father Gnendling and after the bridal oouple had taken seats in the auditorium low mass was celebrated.
