Lown wedding unites coupleOSSEO — Ellen L. Dale, daughter of Jauretta Lamb Dale of Marshall and Robert P. Dale of St. Joseph, and A. Daniel Holdridge, son of Carolyn M. Holdridge of Manistique and the late Atwood F. Holdridge, were married Aug. 1, 1987, at the home of the bride’s grandparents, Marian L. Dale and the late Iieon O. Dale.The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Walter Rothfus on the lawn of the home in Osseo.Given in marriage by her daughters, Ammie and Tiffany, the bride wore a white strapless floor length silk gown with accent silk bows at the waist and hem. The bride’s headdress was a wreath of baby’s breath and white and yellow roses with pearl accents. Her flowers, arranged on a white lace fan, were of white and yellow roses and daisies with greens. The arrangement featured white lace streamers.The bride’s daughters wore pink silk dresses trimmed in white lace. Each wore headdresses of baby’s breath and pink roses and carried matching arrangements.Darla K. Head was maid of honor. She wore a street length pink strapless gown, trimmed with white lace. Her headdress was of baby’s breath and pink roses. She carried a matching arrangement on a white lace fan, with accent pink lace streamers.H. Kevin Holdridge, brother of the groom, was best man.The bride and groom’s favorite music was taped and played by the bride’s sister, Karen L Weers.The bride’s niece and nephew, Laura and Larry Weers, distributednetting filled with bird seed,Mr. and Mrs. A. Daniel Holdridgedecorated in the wedding colors of pink, yellow and white.Approximately 125 people attended the wedding from Stev.ensville, St. Joseph, Olivet, Hanover, Homer, Eckford, Sodus, Marshall, Coloma, Hudson, I^ansing, Parma, Delton, Montgomery, Union City, Battle Creek and Manistique. Hie groom’s paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Holdridge attended from Jackson.Immediately following the wedding ceremony, also held outside, was a reception on the patio of the home. The tiered wedding cakedecorated with roses and daisies was made by the bride’s uncle, Willard W. lamb and Patti Goodlock. The wedding cake was served by Sue Mix*Dill and Cathy Bess.The bride is a graduate of Marshall High School. She was previously employed by HBJ Insurance Company of Battle Creek. The groom is a graduate of Marshall High School.
