Crounse.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a mod street length white chiffon peau de soie dress, having fully gathered wrist length sleeves and jeweled neckline. She wore a white lace mantilla. Her jewelry consisted of a pearl dropnecklace, pearl earrings from Grandmother Westman and also Grandmother Westman’s pin made from her husband and her weddings bands. The bride carried a white Bible having a white orchid marker with shower of ribbons.The maid of honor, Miss Shirley A. Lester, Honesdale Star Route, sister of the bridegroom, wore a mod street length dress fashioned from plum crepe. Her headdress was a chapel cap and matching ribbon streamers. She carried a nosegay of white and plum asters.
