Root, at the residence of the bride's father. The former is a son of S. IP. Homer, of Olean, aud for the past two years agent at this place for the L. W. K. Ii. The latter is an ouly daughter of James H. Root, a wealthy resident. Church, appeared al the stair landing, and upon a signal marched to the north parlor where the ceremony was performed, followed by the usual kisses and congratulations, after which the company numbering about fifty were seated aud a collation served that w ould have compared favorably with I el-monico's best. The repast over a carriage drove the luppy cjuple to the 4. p. in. train, by which they departed for New York. As Mr. and Mrs. Homer moved out of the house Miss Marcia Cowles threw the traditional shoe amid applause by the guests.
