Connie Pollitt, 53Connie Kay Pollitt, 53, 112 Durbon St., Glenwood, died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 1995 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis.Born June 30, 1942, in ConnersvfUe, sHe was the )^amg3bX.‘ ter of Kenneth Cox and Isabelle levins,^H^.,ipothep' s*ijr.- r1 vives. She was a 1960 graduate of Rushville High School and had lived in the Rushville/Glenwood communities her entire life. On Nov. 24, 1974 she married Gerald M. Pollitt Sr., and he also survives. She and her mother owned and operated shops called Knot Just Silks in Connersville, Rushville, and Metamora. She formerly worked at Greens-burg at both Gulf Plastics and Crown Zellerback. She had worked the last year at United Oil as a clerk in Connersville.Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include her stepmother: Janice Cox, Connersville; three sons: Gerald D. Pollitt Jr., Rushville, Charles ’Tony Pollitt, Mineola, Texas, and Christopher Pollitt, Glenwood; one daughter: Lori Pollitt, Glenwood; five stepbrothers: Darrell Cox, South Dakota, Dennis Cox, Connersville, Gary Fultz, Anderson-ville, Mark Fultz, Lewisville, and Dale Fultz, New Castle; and three grandchildren.Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Moster Cox Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Marvin Wright officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary in Rushville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
