Tracy McManus, Wendell Eaton Recite VowsTracy Lea McManus and Wendell Edwin Eaton recited wedding vows June 18, 1988. The double ring ceremony took place at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Great Cacapon, W.Va., with the Rev. Frances C. Dailey officiating. Mrs. Mary Cogley was pianist. Other musical selections were presented by Mrs. Cogley and R v. Michael Cogley. The bridegroom presented roses to the bride, both mothers, the bride’s maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Cross, and the bride’s maternal greatgrandmother, Mrs. Mary Nazelrod.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. McManus, Paw Paw, W.Va. Mr. Eaton is the son of Mrs. Dorma Eaton, also of Paw Paw, and the late Curtis E. Eaton.Given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of white satin and lace with pearl accents. The high neckline was accented with a cameo pin belonging to her maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Nazelrod, Paw Paw, W.Va. Something new was the bride’s gown, made by her mother; something borrowed, her veil; and something blue, two garters, gifts of her father and her aunt, Margaret Taylor. All of the flowers for the wedding were made by Mrs. Debbie Stotler, aunt of the bride.Miss Sherry Saville, Paw Paw, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jessica Halford, Gaithersburg, and Miss Amy McManus, sister of the bride. Jamie McManus, sister of the bride, was flower girl. The attendants’ gowns were made by the bride’s mother. Ushers were Matthew McManus, brother of the bride, and Michael Eaton, nephew of the bridegroom, Paw Paw. David Stotler, cousin of the bride, Great Cacapon, was ring bearer.A reception was held following the ceremony at the Berkeley Springs Moose Lodge, Berkeley Springs, W.Va A blue and white color scheme was used in the decorations. Mrs Jean Stotler, Mrs Barbara Stotler, Mrs. Debbie Stotler and Mrs. Joyce Jamison were in charge of the food. The three-tier cake was baked by Mrs. Leona Lechliter and featured two small cakes connected by stairways containing ceramic miniatures of the bridal party. The cake was cut by Mrs. Debbie Stotler. Amy McManus, Faith Lechliter and Connie Ryan provided the music.Following a trip to Stephens City, Va., the couple set up residence in Winchester, Va.The bride is a graduate of Paw Paw High School and is currently attending Shenandoah College in the nursing program. She is employed by Care Haven of Berkeley, Martinsburg, W.Va.Mr. Eaton is a graduate of Paw Paw High School and is employed by Lantz Construction Company, Winchester.
