Brad Helbert of Abilene, a Baptist minister, officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter ofMr. and Mrs. Don Grahamand parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brooks, all of Pecos.Baskets of white gladiolus and yellow poms graced the living room and provided the floral background for the ceremony.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street length dress of white crepe with the empire bodice and sleeves overlaid with white georgette and trimmed with white beaded lace. Her shoulder length veil of silk illusion fell from a headdress fashioned of white nylon petals interspersed with bridal wreath flowers. She car -bride’s great aunt of Albany, served the tiered wedding confection. Mrs. Brad Helbert, aunt of the bride of Abilene, poured the fruit punch. Her corsage was white carnations.Debbie Hannah was honored recently on her eighteenth birthday with a party in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lessie Woodard.A Zodiac theme was used. Large astrological posters were arranged around the entertaining rooms. Psychedelic lights flashed to help the weird effect.Ifirs. Brooks selected a navy and white crepe one piece dress with complementing accessories. Her corsage was of white carnations.Games were played and dancing was enjoyed. Gifts were presented to the honoree.Candles in vivid colors centered the refreshment table which had a blue linen cloth. All appointments were in the party theme, chips, dips and sloppy joes were served withCokes.The couple are both graduates of Pecos High School. The groom graduated in 1365, attended San Angelo State College one year before entering the U. S. Navy in March, 1967. He is presently serving the remainder of his tour of duty atProvidence, R.
