Unite Avery Marlene Cook, Albert Cleveland SmithMr. and Mrs. Willie Avery Cook of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Avery Marlene, to Albert Cleveland Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Smith of Jackson.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.G. W. Rawls and the late Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Cook, all of Butts County.Miss Cook attended Jackson High School and is now employed in the office of American Mills.Mr. Smith is the grandson of !Mrs. James A. Turner and the late Mr. Turner and the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Cleveland Smith, all of Butts County.Mr. Smith attend Jackson High School and is now employed by the Central Georgia Electric Membership Co-op as a lineman.The wedding date is set for October 12th at three o*clock in the afternoon at the Pepper-ton Baptist Church in Jackson.No formal invitations are being issued, but friends and relatives are invited to attend and remain for the reception afterwards inthe fellowship hall of the church.
