FIDELIS WOLFMiss Mary Jeanne Byrus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Charles Byrus, 616 Ninth, became the bride of Fidelis M. Wolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Wolf of Osage, la., on Tuesday, Kept. Ml, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Catholic church.Rt. Rev. N. A. Steffen read the single ring ceremony and performed the nuptial massbefore an altar decorated with white gladioli and American Beauty roses. The pews were trimmed with tvhite ribbons and myrtle.Mrs. Ed Kelley sang “Ave Maria and “Panis Angelieus; Harry Svec sang Jesus, Jesus Come to Me; and Mrs. Kelley and Mr. Svec sang as duet, Mother of Christ” and Domine Non Sum Dignus.” Mrs. George Howe was at the organ.IVORY SATIN GOWN The bride, giveu in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown, fashioned with a nylon net yoke, Venice lace bertha with scattered rhinestones, long pointed sleeves, and full skirt with cathedral train. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a Juliet cap. She carried a crescent-shaped bouquet of American Beauty roses.Miss Janette Scallon of Ames attended the bride as maid of honor, and bridesmaid was Miss Virginia Gallagher of Des Moines. The attendants wore gowns of forest green corduroy, styled with fitted bodices and full skirts. They wore headpieces of green braided ribbons and white mums, and each carried an arrangement of red fall leaves, centered with a giant white mum and tied with pink velvet ribbon.Clement WoW attended his brother as best man. Ushers were Bill Byrus and Robert Byrus, brothers of the bride, Paul Ahart and Jim Robertson.MOTHER OF BRIDE Mrs. Byrus chose for her daughter’s wedding, a dress of dubonnet crepe with black accessories ami a white carnation corsage. Mrs.Wolf was attired in a Copenhagen blue crepe dress with black accessories and a white carnation corsage.A reception was held in the Hotel Sheidon-Munn immediately following the nuptial mass. A 4-tier wedding cake, decorated with heart-shaped ornaments of white roses and gold beils, with greenery encircling the base, centered the serving table. Six white tapers flanked the arrangement.Mrs. Mark Broaier cut the cake, Mrs. Marvin Gould and Mrs. Jim Robertson poured, and Miss Frances Sehulzetenberge and Miss Evelyn Sehulzetenberge had charge of the bride’s book.WEDDING TRIP The couple left for a wedding trip to Clear Lake, la. For traveling, Mrs. Wolf chose a steel blue wool suit with black accessories and a corsage of American Beauty roses. Mr. and Mrs. Wolf will be at home at Pickstown, S.D.Mrs. Wolf, a graduate of Lake Worth High school at Lake Worth, Fla,, was also graduated from the School of Nursing of the Catholic university at Washington, D. C. She was employed for two years as staff nurse at Mary Greeley hospital at Ames.Mr. Wolf was graduated from Osage High school and Iowa State college. He is employed as engineer for the Johuson-Winston Contractors in Pickstown, S. D.
