Dorothy Boyd iveds M. Sgt, Fred ReeseAt a simple home wedding Sunday, Miss Dorothy Boyd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Boyd, became the bride of M/Sgt. Fred Reese of Columbus. The living room of the Boyds’ Jackson Drive home , was decorated with pink gladioli, the ceremony taking place at 4 o’clock before the mantel', which was banked with greenery, lighted by candelabra. Rev. F. Worthman performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate families.The bride work a teal blue afternoon frock and carried a white prayer book with a spray white orchids. Mrs. Orval * Spelts, the sister of Mrs. Reese, and the only attendant, chose a | pearl gray frock with a corsage ; of deep red roses. jPhilip Munson of Gardner, Mass., a cousin of the bride, served as best man.Immediately following the wedding the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Denver.Mrs. Reese, who attended the University of Nebraska, was a member of Alphi Phi sorority. V Sergeant Reese has recently re-v turned from the European theater of war, having been in service for three years. The couple will reside in Lincoln waiting the honorable discharge o£ the sergeant.Coming from Columbus for the wedding were the parents of Sergeant Reese, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reese, and his sisters, Mary and Elizabeth.
