WERE MARRIED TUESDAYMr, Ross Studer and Miss Christine Murphy.The marriage of Mr, Rosa Studer of Ellington township and Miss Christine Murphy of this neighborhood was solemnized at Assumption church on Tuesday rooming, September 24, at 7 :S0 a. m. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Murphy, and the groom by his brother, Mr. Studer, Quice a number of relatives and friends were present to witness the ceremony. Immediately after the performance of the brief rite all repaired to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and .Mrs. Michael Murphy, where an elegant wedding dinner was served, ' A reception was held during the day. Quite a number of invited guests were present to participate in the festivities and to offer congratulations to the newly wedded couple. Mr. and Mrs. Studer will begin housekeeping at once on their fine farm in Ellington township.The bride is one of the accomplished and deserving young ladies of our community. She has spent ber entire life in this vicinity. She attended St. Mary academy for a number of years and graduated with high honors with the class of 1907. She has since taught school in this county and in South Dakota. She is bright, judicious and energetic and she has been unusually successful in her favorite line of work. It was-while teaching in Ellington township that she met Mr. Studer. To know her intimately is to learn to appreciate her real worth as a lady and her capacity for helpfulness as a member of society. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. August Studer, who are among the most thrifty and prosperous people of the south part of the county, He is a gentleman of pleasing personality and he ranks high among the yonng men with whom he associates. Ho is to be congratulated on the choice* of his companion for life. The Democrat joins the many relatives and friends of the newly mated pair in wishing them health and happiness.
