Wayne W ilsons at Home in ArcadiaMr. and Mrs. Wayne Ross Wilson (the former Barbara Brooks Weiss) have returned to Arcadia and are now in their new home on West Lemon Avenue.Wayne and Barbara were married earlier this year and have been living in San Pedro. The bride is continuing her studies at Dominguez Hills State College where she is a junior, and the bridegroom is in the foreign automotivebusiness.Both are graduates of Arcadia High School, Wayne in 1%4 and Barbara in I960.She is the daughter of Harry Weiss of Highland Oaks Drive, Arcadia, and the late Marjori Weiss. His parentsare Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Wilson of West Palm Drive, Arcadia.They were married in Santa Anita'Church in Arcadia by the Rev. Margaret Stevens.Miss Katy Sweet attended Barbara as maid of honor and Miss Joanne Venegoni was bridesmaid. Shelley Wilson, sister of the bridegroom, served as flower girl.Best man was Dale Rudzikand ushers included Phil Wilson, brother of the bridegroom; Richard Oswald and Garv Schmitt.WSigne Schmitt attended the guest book.Barbara's Victorian style 1 wedding gown was of ivory lt;moire, fashioned with high collar and long sleeves trimmed wdth alternate rows of old fashioned lace and daisies. The design was repeated on the bottom of the floor length skirt. Her cathedrallength veil was fastened to a headband of fresh white azaleas and she carried a nosegay of azaleas, mums, carnations and baby’s breath. The double wedding rings were designed by the bridegroom.Bridal attendants wore similarly styled gowns of cranberry and pink with matching mini-bows and flowers in their hair. Their bouquets were nosegays of red rose buds, pink carnations and purplemums. The flower girl wore pink lace and carried a basket of flowers.A reception for 300 guests followed in Fellowship Hall.
