MR and MRS. DAVID LEARLear - Cronk Wedded InDouble Ring CeremonyChrist Church, Austin, Mani-toba, was the scene of a candlelight ceremony on Saturday. September 5th at 7,p.m., when Antoinette Helen, only daughter of Mr and Mrs. Geo. C Cronk. exchanged rings with David James Lear, only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lear of Winnipeg.Rev Hicks, of MacGregor, Man performed the ceremony amidst a lovely setting of autumn bloomsIan Cronk. brother of the bride, prefaced the ceremony by singing O Perfect Love” accompanied by Mrs Art Stevenson at the organ During the signing of the register Ian sang •Because.”The bride, given in marriage by her father, was beautiful in a full length gown of chantilly lace sprinkled with pearls and sequins The gown featured lily point sleeves and bouffant skirt Her chapel veil was held in place with pearl tiara She carried a cascade of sweetheart roses on a white prayer bookLittle Lizbeth Cronk. niece of the bride, was flower girl in a sunshine yellow’ crinolined dress and carried a nosegay of white daisies with a headpiece of the same flowers.Mrs. Menin Crflnk. sister-in law of the bride, as Matron of Honor, chose a gow n of blue lace and net over taffeta, with a corsage of pink roses, a white feathered headpiece completed her ensembleMiss Grace Russel in a similar gown of blue with similar corsage and headpiece, was bridesmaidThe groom was attended by Mr Donald Peckover of Winnipeg. The ushers were Menin and Gary Cronk brothers of the bride.The bride's mother chose a two piece ensemble of beige and brown and wore a corsage of bronze baby mumsThe reception was held m the Community Hall which was tastefully decorated for the occasion The bride's table was centred by a three-tier wedding cake with tall white tapers on each side Tiny tapers on wedding bells at each place setting and two large floral arrangements of asters, added beauty to the occasionMr Cole, principal of the school the bride attended, pro posed the toast to the bride After the groom ably replied Ian , Cronk, accompanied by MrsStevenson sang “May You Always,”* Scrvituers were the Misses Fern Bull, Ruth Anderson.
