George Me- eo intpsh. Miss Stone is a sister of Miss Op Cora Stone, returned missionary from tb Japan, who was one of the earliest he settlers at Montreat. The Misses to Stone are from Newark, New York p© State. hiiRev. George McIntosh is the pastor Ylt; of the Third Presbyterian church oj pfIndianapolis, Ind., and is a native of Li Scotland.' OilThe occasion was the first of the kind In the history of Montreat, and 23 was a complete success in every detail. BThe interior of the church was most M attractively . decorated, in green and; ti1 gold, the mountain colors. Tne entire intront ot the platform, the pulpit and es the side windows were eovered with a ai solid mass of the rich green laurel Si leaves. All of the windows, with one H j i exceptionj, were darkened with green. This gavp the whole interior a beauti-1 m fui light effect. Jiist aboye, and in the rear pf the pulpit one window was left undarkened.; Through this the j ticlear light fell into the center of the room* From .either door and leading 1 up to the front the wide isles were clt; covered with ^heavy velvet . .Messrs, OPhstantine and Goit acted as ushers $nd Miss Kent officiated at the organ. Exactly at 11 o’clbck the music started. From the doors in the rear, leadingfrom tjae^ two schoolrooms on either j ^ side into the auditorium came a 1| procession of kindergarten children. There were 30 of these and they lined up oh either side of the main aisle,carrying a heavy rope of green galax JTjx and laurel leaves. Miss Stone has had ai f charge of the kindergarten depart-r meat of the Montreat school, and it was especially fitting that these little r ones should be the only attendants at her wedding.Following these from either aide came the bride and; groom.The bride was attired in white eta-mine, trimmed in lace applique. The bridal veil was an unusually handsomewvwSI••Itaialt;baiTiVi1hone of white silk tulle. The groom wore a biack Prince Albert. The i ceremony, performed by Rev. F. D. t flood, was simple and impressive.Mr. and Mrs. McIntosh left on the a noon train for Brevard and will spend IZ . some days traveling from point to t point in Western North Carolina. These two were much loved by all i who knew them, and fhe best wishes tj - of many friends follow them as they a r go to their Indianapolis home.PP
