Susan Arbuthnot, Ronald Taber wedMiss Susan Renee Arbuthnot became the bride of Ronald Joseph Taber on Saturday, Sept. 11, in an afternoon ceremony at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Evansville.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. James H. Parmenter of Evansville and Clarence F. Arbuthnot of Francisco. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taber of Evansville. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Blaize of Oakland City.Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride chose Miss Karen Neimeier as her honor attendant. Amy and Todd Armstrong, cousins of the bride from Fredericksburg, served as flower girl and ring bearer.Steve Owens was best man for the bridegroom, and Mark Taber and David Arbuthnot, brothers of the couple, were ushers.Miss Debra Arbuthnot registered guests. Assisting at the reception, held in the church cafeteria, were Mrs. Steve Taber, Miss Karen Taber and Miss Pam Taber.Following a honeymoon in Daytona Beach, Fla., the couple will live in Tifton, Ga., where the groom will attend Abraham Baldwin College on a basketball scholarship, majoring in engineering.Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Taber were 1976 graduates of North High School in Evansville.
