Mrs. Lyle Stewart Honored by ShowerLast WednesdayA.pretty shower was given in com* pliment to Mrs. Lyle Stewart of Fair-view avenue Wednesday evening by Mrs. Pearl Kairis and.Mrs- Margaret Duncan at the ^Kairis hoffte, 316 Nortzx Park avenue.Twenty guests participated. Bridge and five hundred was the diversion ot the evening and Mrs. Paul Johnson received the prize in bridge and Mrs. Stewart in five hundred. The guests then gathered about the tables that were so attractively decorated in colors pink and white.A large stork placed on a plateau standing in a water.lily centered the table where the honored guest was seated and from this a smaller lily bent gracefully over toward her place and partly hidden within was a tiny baby doll.Dainty favors of miniature stork nut cups with place carifc attached and tall pink candles added to the decorations.Following the delicious luncheon a iarge daintily covered basket filled with beautiful gifts was presented Mrs. Stewart.All enjoyed a perfectly delightful evening, leaving many kind remembrances of the event for the guest of honor. Those from out-of-town present ■vere Miss Beatrice Langley of Wheaton, Mrs. T. Olson of Berwyn and Mrs. William Wilhelm of Western Springs.WANT STREETS PAVED
