Augu'tlneChurch at 6 o’clock Wednesday night to witness themarriage of Miss Annie Werner, of Browne street, and Mr. Theodore Kempf, of Chester Park. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. F. J. Werner, for many years cashier of the Western Oer-nmu Bank. The groom is the proprietor of an extensive saddlery at Chester Park. The ceremony was performed In an impressive manner by Kev. Walburg, Mr. Charles Meyer, of St. Bernard, and Miss Amelia Werner acting as attendants, after which the couple and relatives adiourned to the residence of the bride’s father, on Browne street, where only the relatives were present. The bride wore an elegant attire of white satin d»terwoven with oranee blossoms, while the sam# becoming flower also crowned her head. The groom wore the conventional black. A sumptuous! repast was prepared, and Mr. nnd Mrs. Theo. Kempf left for their future home, near Chester Park, about 11 o’clock. Festivities were kept up for some time longer by those remaining, until they at Inst, too, dispersed. Among those present were noticed Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Werner, Mr. and Mrs. Mackzum, Mr. Henry Kempf and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Haldy. and MissTiilie Haldy, Mr. Nicholas Hanson and wife, and Frederick and Gustav Werner. The presents wore numerous and costly. Among them were: Heavy pickle caster. Miss Mollie Corrigan; set of ornamental vases, Mr. Hanson; silver butterdish, Mr. Charles Meyer; complete china service, Mr. Haldv; folding lounge, Mr. Fred. Werner; elegant chamber set, Misses Amelia and Lou Weruer. May fortune smile upon their future path.
