Mr. and Mrs. Allen F. Fer-nald of Alamogordo have announced the approaching marriage of their daughter, De Ann K. to William Scott Shirley, son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Shirley of Eckert, Colo. The ceremony has been set for Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church. Milton C. Chester will officiate the ceremony.The prospective bride is a 1985 graduate of Alamogordo Senior High School. She has four brothers: David, Donald, and Doug Fernald, all of Alamogordo and Daniel Fernald of Soccoro. She is the grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugen Fernald of Florida.Shirley is a 1984 graduate ofCedaridge High School in Cedaridge, Colo.
