Thegroom was John Samuels and-the ibride was Mrs. Mary Coffee, both ofthem amonc the old residents of thecounty. The ceremony was performed bv Marcellus Recobs, justice ofthe peace for the township, andwhen the marriage was solemnizedthere were a number of friend3 andacquaintances rf the parties, onhands to witness the event end toextend cordial congratulations. The\will reside in Tipton, the groom having a home fitted up for his bride.This was the third marriage forMr. Samuels and the fifth for thebride. Mr. Samuels is. seventy-sixyears of age, and the bride is seventy- three.John Samuels is a well knownresidents of this county, he havinglived here since 1S52, he cominghere the year the first railroad wasbuilt into the county and he was one»I of the men who worked on thegrade of the road from Tipton toPeru.
