Olebk of Coubt Sheabdown to-day received a marriage certificate twenty. years old. It was forwarded to bim^from,'.Marshall, Minn., by T. P. Baldwin, long an ex** iaetioe of the peace. Tbe parties to the marriage were Whitney Schoolcraft and Alvina Cotton, both of Winona county, The license was issued by Mr. E.~ A. Gerdt-zsn on Dec- 6, 1871.. Mr. Sheardown has more, than once noticed that the record in this case wa^incomplete and wondered why the certificate of marriage bad never oeenreturned.-''' ' A —
