Miss Dickey weds James McGillemMiss Anita Jo Dickey and James Hay McGillem were married at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, in a double-ring ceremony at Trinity United Methodist Church, Oakland City. The Rev. Elmer Bosworth performed the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dickey. The groom is the son of Hazel McGillem and the late Charles McGillem, all of Oakland City.The bride chose a white, floor-length gown of all rosepoint lace fashioned in a princess style with long sleeves and a Queen Anne neckline for her wedding. She wore a juliet cap of rosepoint lace with the veil edged in lace matching the dress.Ruth Ann Dickey, DuQuoin, 111., served as her sister’s maid of honor. Mrs. Debbie Yager, Winslow, and Miss Ruth Townsend, Oakland City, friends of the bride, were bridesmaids.They wore floor-length gowns of peach knit with (Minted, sheer, three-quarter length capes.Bruce Steiner, Princeton, was best man. Groomsmen were Kenneth Pancake and Mike Toms, both of Winslow. Candles were lighted and guests seated by Clifford Hodgen, Oakland City, Jeff Allen, Buckskin; Stan Yager, Winslow and BobMcGillem, brother of thegroom.The groom and groomsmenwore mint green tuxedos trimmed in jade green.John DeFelice, cousin of the bride, provided favorite selections on the organ and piano preceding the ceremony and accompanied his brother, Andy DeFelice who sang “You Light Up My Life” and “Wedding Song” during the ceremony.A reception in the social room of the church followed thePhilip M. Hunt has been promoted to vice-president* manager of the main office of Old National Bank in Evansville.Hunt, the son of Monroe and Helen Hunt of Oakland City, is a 1958 graduate of Oakland City High School and a 1963 graduate with a B.S. degree from Oakland City College. He also received his master of science from IndianaState in 1965.Hunt joined Old National Bank in June of 1966. He servesceremony. Aunts of the bride, Mrs. Lee Boger, Evnasville, and Mrs. Mario DeFelice, Princeton, served at the reception, assisted by Mrs. Mark DeFelice, Anderson.The bride received an associate degree in business from Oakland City College and is employed by Wirth Hospital in the purchsing department.After a wedding trip to Brown county and McCormick’s Creek, the couple will reside at Route 4, Petersburg.as president of the North Side Kiwanis and has been an instructor in the American Institute of Banking program at HE. He is past president and member of the board of directors of Oakland City College Alumni Association, member of the Evansville Chamber of Commerce and member and ordained deacon of Grace Baptist Church.Attend brother'sbirthday dinner
