Giannini-Mica Wedding Solemnized at St. John'sSolemnized on Sunday, Sept. 4, in St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church was the marriage of Verne Ami Giaiiiiini and Paul Mica. Thechanged at 3 o’clock in the after-double ringvows were ex-noon before the church priest, the Rev. John Govrusik.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Tomer and Roland Ciannini, both of Monessen and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs, Elizabeth Mica, of Monessen and the late Paul Mica.The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a white eyelet gown of imported dotted sWiss styled with a sleeveless fitted bodice and full tiered skirt of ballerina length. Her short veil was held to a tiara of pearls and she carried a bridal arrangement of lilies of the valley and carnations.Maid of HonorMaid of honor was Lon a Ann Lee, a classmate of the bride at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, in Pittsburgh. She wore a gown of dusty rose taffeta styled full length with a fitted bodice and full skirt She carried a bouquet of pink carnations tied with pink streamers and wore a matching tiara of carnations.Mary Kathleen Tomer, little sister of the bride, was the flower girl. She wore an embroidered nylon dress of pale pink and carried a miniature bouquet of pink carnations and wore pink carnations in her hair.Best man was Anthony Miralles, of Monessen.Mrs. Tomer wore a silver gray taffeta dress with fitted bodice and full skirt, navy accessories and an orchid corsage, for herdaughter’s wedding. Mrs. Mica wore a navy blue ensemble with an orchid corsage.Wedding DinnerA dinner at Johnson’s followed the ceremony for the immediate family and a few close friends. A tiered .wedding cake centered the table. Later the couple received friends at the home of the bridegroom.Mr. and Mrs. Mica went to Quebec, Canada, for their wedding trip and they are now living in their own apartment at 725 Rostraver street.The bride was graduated from Monessen High School in 1952 and in. August of this year from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing inPittsburgh,, and is now employed on the staff of the Charieroi-Mon-essen Hosptal. Her husband is also a Monessen graduate and is employed at Page Division of the American Chain and Cable Co.
