FILMING SEQUENCE WHICH TERMINATES IN JESSE JAMES’ DEATHBY a STAFF COK1USSFONDKMT. Pineville, Mo., Sept. 21. —The original ‘‘Jesse James” company set up its equipment at what is known as the Knisley home just north of here this morning to begin the filming of a sequence which willculminate in the slaying of Jesse James (Tyrone Power) by BobFord (John Carradine).The Knisley home resembles that in St. Joseph in which Jesse James was living under the alias of Mr. Howard when he was slain. ^ Only exterior shots will be filmed in this vicinity. On the set were; Power, Henry Fonda, Carradine and members of the Jesse James outlawband.Meanwhile, the second Jesse James company, directed by Otto Brower, moved its equipment to Pineville and began filming street scenes using 50 or more extras.
