Jr., was celebrated with simple and happy ceremony at the home of the bride‘s parents, Mr. and Mi's. N. S Dnerst, at 7 Wednesday morning. Only the members of the two farmm/iliefi were prescut, yefc there was nothing lacking in the elegance of the details on that account, and happy couples who make a start ou their wedding journey with a promising future so brightly omened cannot be counted in the majority. Rev. Alfred Sehnk, of St. John’s Evangelical church, officiated and the bride and groom were attended by the bride’s little sister, Miss Nellie Durst, and the little brother of the groom, Master Herman Regez. Another sister of the bride, Miss Marie Durst, and Mr. Louis Hirsig were the witnesses. The bride wore a tailor made traveling dress of navy blue. As the bride and groom had arranged to leave at 8:2b for an extended wedding tour, the time for the joyful greeting of the principals was short and a very tempting wedding breakfast awaited the company.The rooms of the home looked very pretty in their decorations roses and cut (lowers. The number and elegance of the presents that were made by the relatives and friends was of special interest, the couple being particularly fortunate iu this respect.Mr. and Mrs. Regez left for Milwaukee and from there they will make a lake trip to Buffalo, N. Y. They will ,’isit PiLLsburg, Toledo and Cincinnati, being absent about two weeks. After they return they will take up their home 011 Liberty street, between Monroe and Jackson streets, in the modern cottage which is the gift of the groom’s father. They will be at home to their friendsafter Oct. 25.The- bride and groom are both wellknown in the city and their ^ circle offriends is by no means limited. Thebride was a teacher in the public schoolsis a member of the‘Woman’s club andis very generally esteemed, while her aunny temperament and bright mind has drawn about her many warm Wends. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.Jacob Regez and he has been a valued assistant to his father in the management of his extensive cheese business.
