Mrs. Robert H. NoldCauthen, Nold marry at Kimball LutheranCindy A. Cauthen and Robert H. “Bob” Nold, both of Concord, were married Saturday, September 9, at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church. Pastor David Keck officiated over the ceremony with Mrs. David Keck, organist, and Miss Meredith Johnson, soloist.Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bamptte of Kannapolis and the groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Nold Sr.Escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory satin and lace with a mermaid silhouette bodice, a sabrina neckline, fitted sleeves and a dropped torso, embellished with pearls and sequins. A heart cut-out, accented with strands of pearls and a pearl medallion, accented the back of the gown, and the trumpet skirt was encircled with shell medallions of sequins. The skirt extended into a chapel-length train. A halo of silk flowers and pearls held a triple pouf, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses, stephanotis, teal freesia and fern.Miss Lori Cauthen of Concord, the bride's daughter, was the maid of honor and wore a teal satin gown witha lace overlay, a round neckline, long sleeves and a high/low hemline. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses, teal freesia and fern.Kelly and Megan Nold of Concord, the groom's daughters, were the flower girls and wore long gowns of ivory lace with short puffed sleeves accented with teal ribbon They carried baskets with ivory and pink rose petals.David English was the best man and ushers were Jeff Carpenter of Concord and Mike Hillard of Princeton, N.J.A reception was held in the church fellowship hall with Wanda Artz, Ann Griggs and Belinda Artz assisting.A graduate of A.L. Brown High School, the bride attended Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. She is a product developer for Fieldcrest Cannon.The groom graduated from Albany Academy and attended Bucknell College. He is a national sales manager for Fieldcrest Cannon.The couple honeymooned at Hilton Head Island, S.C.A wedding party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nold.
